Decommissioning of the LCH EnClear OTC clearing service for UK Power and Gas contracts 

Members are advised that on Monday 2nd November, LCH.Clearnet Limited will terminate its LCH EnClear OTC clearing service for UK Baseload Electricity, UK Peakload Electricity and UK NBP Gas contracts.  There is no open interest in these contracts.

With effect from this date, these contracts will no longer appear in the SPAN file or in ECS.

There will be no further general communications on this termination – all further information will be shared with those Clearing Members directly affected.

This will not affect any of the other contracts within the LCH EnClear clearing service; namely Freight, Iron Ore, Fertilizer and Emissions.
