LCH.Clearnet provides an independent clearing service for OTC Coal swaps and option contracts settled against API 2 cif ARA (Argus/McCloskey) and API 4 Richards Bay (Argus McCloskey) index prices.

Approved Brokers have open and equal access to the service and can register their OTC brokered trades with LCH.Clearnet for clearing through a clearing member of LCH.Clearnet.

The service launched in September 2010 with strong support from the coal trading community. LCH.Clearnet is committed to working closely with the industry to ensure that our offering reflects the ongoing needs of the marketplace.
