To analyse the Fixed Income area from a Business Operations perspective, in light of both market and internal developments, and ensure that changes to the service(s) are fully assessed to allow a suitable solution to be developed. The Project Analyst will also perform/manage User Acceptance Testing and ensure that projects are effectively delivered.
Identify and analyse the impact on Business Operations of new Fixed Income products and service enhancements for introduction into the Fixed Income area.
Liaise with Commercial Services department and Business Operations area to ensure that requirements are captured and documented as appropriate.
Manage resources working on Fixed income projects, ensuring that staff are set clear objectives and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Produce required project documentation (e.g. Business Requirements) outlining the Business needs.
Ensure that operational and external procedures are updated/produced as required.
Provide solutions to problems ensuring that they are communicated effectively.
Work with manager to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support Fixed Income projects.
Define test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing and other relevant test phases.
Execute/manage User Acceptance Testing and other relevant test phases, ensuring defects are raised appropriately.
Ensure appropriate test documentation is reviewed and produced for all relevant test phases.
Liaise with other stakeholders, both internal and external to progress requirements into development phase.
Perform training and ensure knowledge is transferred to Business Operations staff.
Experience of working on projects and conducting business analysis.
Experience of producing UAT scripts, co-ordinating and executing tests
Knowledge of Quality Centre
Demonstrates good knowledge of Fixed Income products
Management/Supervisory Experience required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good organisational skills and demonstrates the ability to work within and adhere to tight deadlines.
Ability to use own initiative and of a pro-active nature.
Knowledge of SWIFT messaging
Experience of working in Operations area.
Knowledge of Clearcase
Good A level results
Knowledge of Prince 2 methodology
